Every listing needs a traceable basis
Our job is to make public information easier to navigate without turning uncertainty into false confidence.

Our publication standard
A public listing must identify a real service, have an official provider page supporting its core details, and include enough location or contact information to be useful. Our editor records the source URL and the date it was reviewed.

Discover
We identify candidate services through authoritative public sources and providers’ own official pages.

Verify
We check the organisation, location, service categories and contact details against an official source. Older open-data records remain private research candidates until reconfirmed.

Write carefully
We create a concise factual summary in our own words and add an access note where a referral, assessment or service-boundary caveat is supported.

Show provenance
Every detail page exposes the source and the date we checked it, plus a correction path.
What we may publish
- Names, public addresses and contact numbers
- Service categories supported by an official page
- Careful explanations and questions to ask
- Current official resource links
What we do not publish without evidence
- Availability, waiting times or capacity
- Fees, subsidy outcomes or eligibility
- Ratings, reviews, awards or quality rankings
- Clinical suitability or recommendations
Categories and regions
Service categories reflect the functions described by the provider, not our assessment of quality. Regional pages use five broad editorial groups to support browsing; they are not government service boundaries. A contact office does not necessarily indicate where home-based support is delivered.
Ranking and commercial influence
Results are alphabetical. The current directory has no sponsored placements, referral commissions, ratings or ranking formula. Provider representation does not grant editorial control.
Freshness and corrections
A “source checked” date records an editorial review, not a real-time guarantee. Families and providers can report a correction. We verify material changes before publishing them.
Data provenance note
The research workflow can ingest the Ministry of Health’s “Eldercare Services” dataset from data.gov.sg under the Singapore Open Data Licence. Because that dataset’s public update date and some record metadata are old, imported rows are placed in a non-public research queue. They never become public listings automatically. Current public records were independently checked against providers’ official pages on 12 August 2026.
